When you need this

Not every movie is action, drama, comedy or horror. These are the other names you'll hear when friends choose what to watch. Each one comes with a picture in people's heads: say "animated" and they think of families, say "documentary" and they think of real life.

Most of these are nouns you can use two ways: "a documentary" for one movie, "documentaries" for the type. "I love documentaries" is about your taste. "I saw a documentary" is about one night.
