When you need this
When someone asks what kind of movies you like, one word is not enough. "Action" tells them the type. "I love a good car chase" tells them why, and it gives them something to answer.
Action movies are about what happens: fights, chases, explosions. Dramas are about people: families, love, hard choices. The words for them are different too. You praise an action movie for being exciting and a drama for being moving or well acted.
