When you need this

A dental checkup has a script: check in at the front desk, sit in the chair, answer a few questions, open wide, and then talk about the bill and the next visit. The hard part isn't the vocabulary. It's that half the questions come while someone's hands are in your mouth, so you want the phrases ready before you sit down.

Most of what you say is at the start and the end. At the start, you tell them why you're there and mention anything that's changed. At the end, you ask what they found and book the next visit. The middle is mostly "mm-hmm".
