When you need this

Most deliveries arrive without a word spoken. The conversations start when something goes wrong: you missed the delivery, the box went to a neighbor, the tracking says delivered but there's nothing at your door, or the thing inside is broken. These phrases help you explain the problem clearly to a neighbor, a building manager or a customer service line.

When you report a problem, give the facts in order: what you expected, what happened, and what you'd like them to do. "It was supposed to arrive Monday, it hasn't come, and I'd like a replacement" gets results faster than a long complaint.
