When you need this
People talk about email as much as they write it. "Did you get my email?" "It went to spam." "Can you forward it to me?" These spoken phrases are what you'll use at home and with friends when you're sorting out plans, bills and bookings that arrive in your inbox.
Email is a verb as well as a noun: you email someone, you send an email. Everyday speakers also use "reply" and "get back to" a lot; "I'll get back to you" means you'll answer later, usually after you've checked something.
