When you need this

A day or two before you fly, you might call the airline or check online to make sure the booking is real, the time has not changed, and your seat is what you asked for. The call is short and follows a script: say what you want, give your booking reference, answer two or three questions, thank them. Knowing the script means you can do it even when the line is noisy.
