When you need this

Sometimes "What do you do for fun?" gets a shrug. Then you need a yes-or-no question about one specific hobby. It's less work for the other person, and even a "no" gives you something to talk about.

The best answers to a "no" question aren't only "no." Add what you do instead: "Not really. I'm more of a movie person." That keeps the door open, and it's much friendlier than a single word.
