Light flirting in English is mostly warmth plus a small joke. It's a compliment about something the person chose or did, like their laugh, their taste in music or a story they told, rather than their body. It's also a question more than a statement: you're checking whether the other person is enjoying it too.
Read the replies. Long answers, questions back, and jokes are a green light. Short answers and a quick goodbye mean step back, kindly. "No worries if not" is the phrase that keeps things relaxed, and it only works if you mean it.
