When you need this
After a first date, a new job or a friend's party, someone always asks, "So, what's he like?" or "What did you think of her?" The answer is usually a short comment, and the comments people remember are about character: kindness, humor, confidence, how someone treats other people.
Looks come up too, and that's normal, but the respectful way is warm and light. "He has a great smile" or "She's got great style" sounds friendly.
