When you need this
After the first week, the questions change. People already know your name and your major. Now they ask how you feel about the place, why you came, and what you want to do later. These questions are a little more personal, and they're how a classmate becomes a friend.
You don't need a perfect answer. "So far, so good" is a full reply to "How do you like it here?" If you're homesick, you can say so. Most students are, at least a little, and saying it out loud often starts a better conversation than "Fine."
Questions about the future are hard at eighteen, and everyone knows it. "I'm not sure yet" is normal. Add one idea if you have it: "Maybe something with kids."
