The pattern

"It's gonna be" plus an adjective predicts how something will turn out. "It's gonna be hot tomorrow." "It's gonna be a long day." It is "It's going to be", said the way people actually say it. You predict from evidence: dark clouds, a full calendar, a nervous friend.

Its warmest use is reassurance. "It's gonna be okay" and "It's gonna be fine" are what people say to calm someone down. Add "totally" or "honestly" in front for extra comfort. In writing, use "It's going to be".
